Frequently Asked Questions

Your puppy needs to have received their first and second vaccinations. Your vet will advise you how long to wait after your puppy's second vaccinatons. Your puppy can join up to 6 months of age.

Yes, you need to bring a mat/bed/something for your puppy to settle on (a cheap bathmat will be enough), water and a water bowl, a chew toy and training treats. An email will be sent out with all the information you need for each particular class.

Bookings are taken in blocks of six consecutive sessions (i.e 6 weeks).  After an initial 6 week booking you have the option to continue you and your puppy's training journey.

If you're unsure you can always arrange a consultation or call before you commit to a class. A well-run class could offer your puppy an opportunity to gain confidence in a controlled environment.
Your puppy will never be rushed in my class.
The venue is large so you will have plenty of space around you.
Full length screens are available to assist this process.
We manage how your puppy enters and departs the building.
Your puppy's welfare must always take priority, and occasionally, despite all efforts, a group environment may just be too much for your puppy. If this is the case you have the option to pay the difference towards 1-2-1 lessons.

You have access to the online content for six months. All the printable content is available for you to download/print and keep for as long as you would like.

The sessions are 45 minutes long. Puppy's have a short attention span and classes require a lot of mental processing. Your puppy will tire quite quickly.

As per the Training Terms and Conditions; children are welcome to attend certain group classes such as puppy classes with appropriate adult supervision.
The children, and the safety of children, remain the sole responsibility of the supervising adult at all times.
If the children are disruptive to the class, the supervising adult will be asked to remove them from the class.
If you have particularly young children who will struggle to remain seated for any length of time, a 1-2-1 session might be a better option.

Classes are limited to six puppies per class. Therefore, each puppy requires it's own separate booking.
In order to ensure the welfare of each puppy during the entirety of the class, each puppy requires it's own handler.
You can make two separate bookings for your puppies if you have a trusted friend/relative/partner (over 18 years of age) to act as a handler for the second puppy.

The current venue for the class is a very large, modern venue. It is well-heated. Depending on your breed of dog, you may wish to put a coat on your puppy for toilet trips. You do not need one for the venue itself.
For any walks or social outings the class does together it's best to check the weather forecast.

Yes, absolutely. You receive the same online content and will have the same access to the online community.
